What We Provide

Here at Greenfield Middle School, our counseling team is here to support you and your student. Here are some of the resources we can provide:
1. Individual Counseling Check-Ins
- Short-term services, typically 6-8 weeks
- Focus is dependent on student's needs
- Academic, social-emotional, career, or other need
- Guardian consent required
2. Small Group Counseling
- Short-term services, typically 6-8 weeks
- Focus is dependent on students' shared needs
- Guardian consent required
3. Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS)
- Long-term services, usually weekly
- For students who participate in an Individualized Education Program and have Mental Health Services
- Counselor meets with student for specified minutes in the student's plan and focuses on a specific goal
- Guardian consent required in collaboration with case manager
4. Pre-SSTs & SSTs
- Student Success Team Meetings
- School counselor can organize a meeting to discuss student needs and solutions with family and school staff
- Pre-SSTs -- with school counselor, student, family, and a member of the admin team
- SSTs -- with school counselor, student, family, a member of the admin team, and student's teachers
- Meeting can be requested by family or by school staff
5. The WELL
- Resource on campus for students
- Students may take a break for 10-15 minutes in the WELL as needed
- The WELL is serviced by our two guidance technicians
- Scheduled WELL Visits can be requested and would require guardian consent

6. Classroom Lessons
- Grade-level school counselors visit classrooms at least once a month to provide relevant curriculum to students
